SLT Laser Technological Aspects                                                              SLT Laser Advantages                   Jim Sutton has 32 years experience in all phases of ophthalmology and 17 years of ophthalmic management. He received his C.O.T. and Ophthalmic Surgical Techniques and Instrument Certification in 1976 though Bascom Palmer Institute, V.A. Hospital and Jackson Memorial Training Centers in Miami, Florida . Jim has worked in all aspects of ophthalmic specialties and has done numerous lab studies with doctors such as Dr. Gass, Dr. Guy O’Grady in Florida and Dr. Sandy Meyers in Denver . He also worked for the Lions Eye Bank harvesting eyes in Denver and was involved in the development of the Porter Eye Lab.   He has continuously stayed up to date with 300 hours of continued education and has done some week long courses such as Ophthalmic Photography at Baylor College of medicine and Emory University . He studied Photography with the grandfather of them all for ophthalmic photography Johnny Justice. Jim is an active member of JCAHPO, ATPO and Pima Medical School . He has taken 2 years of sciences, ethics, physics and psychology courses. He has had numerous photography studies published with neurology doctors in Denver and with ophthalmologists including video photography. Jim has also saved a few peoples lives with his expertise in the medical aspect of ophthalmology. Mr. Sutton has volunteered for helping low vision patients, 9News Health Fairs, Provident Health Foundation and has received the CSAC Share Award. Jim has also worked for 17 years with neurology doctors and trauma doctors adding to his wealth of knowledge. He is also up to date with his CPR certification. Mr. Sutton is a patient and caring person, putting the doctors and patients needs as a first priority.
